Houses

At Gilmerton Primary we have 4 houses:

Dundee

Edinburgh

Glasgow

Stirling

Each house has a House Captain and a Vice House Captain who are democratically elected at the start of P7 as part of work looking at democracy.  This provides a real-life context to explore elections, voting and the democratic system at work.  The House and Vice Captains then have to live up to their manifesto pledges!
